Movies, TV shows, music, audiobooks, ebooks, photos, and home videos in one family archive.
GPMA—short for Gladshiem Private Media Archive—is a free, LAN-first home media server designed for dependable playback across your local network, with no advertising, no cloud account, and no connection back to us.
GPMA is being built as a single, durable home for the media a family actually keeps—from a favorite television series to an audiobook collection, old family photos, ebooks, music, and home video.
GPMA does not stream a file while it is still being transcoded. If a compatible copy is needed, GPMA completes and validates it before playback begins so audio, video, seeking, and subtitles share a stable timeline.
Modern compatible media travels over your LAN without conversion.
The first play of incompatible media can wait while a complete cached copy is created.
Prepare likely-incompatible files ahead of time for immediate later playback. Older television and classic-film collections are more likely to need conversion.
We recommend keeping roughly 10–20% additional storage available when pre-caching. Actual use depends on the codecs and formats in your archive.
The GPMA Roku client is built for directional remotes, large screens, profile switching, full-library navigation, voice-assisted text entry where available, and locally cached artwork. GPMA prepares media on the server so the television can focus on reliable playback.
GPMA prioritizes compatible hearing-impaired, SDH, and closed-caption subtitle releases where providers identify them, keeps subtitle selection explicit, and is designed to preserve synchronization when viewers pause, resume, or seek.
Once libraries, metadata, artwork, and compatible playback copies are scanned and cached, GPMA requires no Internet connection for normal use. With power, a server, a supported client, and a LAN, the archive remains usable.
GPMA keeps original media untouched while building its catalogue, artwork, metadata, subtitle files, and compatible playback copies in managed storage.
Movies, TV shows, music, audiobooks, ebooks, photos, and home videos in one family archive.
Local sidecars, provider search, preferred release matching, language priority, hearing-impaired ordering, and planned advanced correction.
No inbound cloud control, ads, tracking webhooks, or mandatory online account. Clients use your server over the LAN.
Bounded paging, combined libraries, filters, sorting, search, collections, and playlists for archives with tens of thousands of files.
Connect a chosen third-party or local LLM for permission-aware discovery and confirmed playlist or collection proposals.
Scan reports, unmatched-media repair, duplicate review, managed caches, profile controls, and Trash before permanent deletion.
Author, series, album, and artist organization with progress-aware audiobook, music, and prepared ebook experiences.
Compatible live broadcast sources can be configured without making them a requirement for the private archive.
Cached descriptions, artwork, people, reviews, subtitles, and prepared files keep routine use independent of provider availability.
GPMA makes outbound Internet connections only for media metadata and artwork searches, subtitle searches/downloads, compatible Live TV broadcasts, or a third-party AI service you configure. None is required for prepared-library playback.
There are no connections back to Ordinex Labs, no advertising network, no usage analytics, no cloud webhook, and no hidden remote access path in GPMA. Provider requests are made directly by your server when the relevant feature is enabled and used.
